Our social foundation
Our social foundation
In principle, we do not pursue the approach of making as much profit as possible from a knitted product. The handiwork of the knitter is important to us. It is therefore not about producing as many knitted sweaters as possible in as little time as possible. The knitter takes the time she needs to knit a correctly knitted sweater. For the wonderful handiwork she receives a price that she has previously agreed with us. A win-win situation for the knitter, us and of course for you as a customer ( more on this here... ).
We also like to support and report on young people in Peru who want to earn some money for their education with their wool ideas ( more about this here ... ).
What is written about Alpakita.
We are a small, socially oriented knitting business and there is not much left for major public relations work. However, Alpakita is sometimes reported on ( more on that here... ).
Maybe you have seen our small advertisements in the Kiezbaltt Klausener Platz ( more about this here... ) or the Berlin environmental newspaper "Der Rabe Raldf" ( more about this here... ).
Fair for people, the environment and the climate
